The Fox Theatre has named Alfredo Rodriguez and Paul Delgado as executive chef and club manager, respectively, of its new Marquee Club, scheduled to open sometime this fall.
The Marquee Club is a premier membership venue with more than 10,000 square feet of space, accessible only to ticketed patrons with an annual membership or a single-event pass.
Rodriguez, who has nearly 20 years of culinary experience, will oversee the Marquee Club’s menu development and F&B operations. He has worked at Walt Disney World Resorts, the California Center for the Arts and, most recently, as chef at Emilio and Gloria Estefan’s restaurant Oriente at the Cardozo Hotel in Miami. The Puerto Rico native graduated from the New England Culinary Institute with a bachelor’s degree in culinary arts.
Delgado will oversee all Marquee operations, including hiring and training staff, coordinating vendors and managing budgets. He, too, has nearly 20 years of hospitality experience. He has worked at Walt Disney World Resort’s Magic Kingdom Theme Park and Ruth’s Chris Steak House at Harrah’s Casino in North Carolina and Atlanta’s Centennial Park.
When completed, the Moroccan-themed Marquee will feature a multi-level interior and a climate-controlled rooftop terrace, food and drink. It will be open before events, at intermission and after select events. Other amenities include priority pre-sale ticketing notifications, private restrooms, a dedicated lobby elevator, concierge guest services, self-parking access in an adjacent lot and the ability to to pre-order drinks, dessert and coffee for intermission.
