Ghostlight Records will produce the original cast recording for the new Broadway musical, Water for Elephants, which had its world premiere in Atlanta on The Coca-Cola Stage at Alliance Theatre last summer.

The forthcoming album aims to immortalize the show’s captivating score crafted by the esteemed PigPen Theatre Co., known for The Tale of Despereaux.

The musical features a book by three-time Tony Award nominee Rick Elice (known for Jersey Boys and Peter and the Starcatcher) and is directed by Tony Award nominee Jessica Stone (Kimberly Akimbo).

The story follows a young man, who after losing what matters most, jumps on a moving train and finds a new home with the remarkable crew of a traveling circus,
