Former Saturday Night Live co-stars Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, who have both seen their careers skyrocket since leaving the show, will be heading to the Fox Theatre for three comedy concerts, Jan. 19-20.
Poehler and Fey will celebrate their 30 years of friendship with an evening of jokes, stories, and conversational entertainment.
Fey is an award-winning writer, actress, author and producer, known for creating and starring as Liz Lemon on the NBC hit, 30 Rock. She also wrote the screenplay for the hit comedy film, Mean Girls, which was turned into a hit Broadway musical, and the upcoming musical version of the film.
Poehler is best known for playing Leslie Knope on the Emmy-nominated NBC comedy series, Parks and Recreation, and co-hosts Peacock’s Baking It along with another SNL vet, Maya Rudolph.
Fey and Poehler are long-time friends and have co-hosted the Golden Globes together four times.
The duo has three shows at the Fox Theatre—8 p.m. on Jan. 19, and 2:30 p.m., and 6 p.m., on Jan. 20. Tickets start at $83.50. For more information, visit foxtheatre.org.
