Morrisey is considered one of the most influential musicians in British pop, and one of the top pop lyricists of his generation.

He came to prominence as the frontman and lyricist of rock band the Smiths, who ruled the ’80s alternative sound, and went on to a highly successful solo career. His catalogue of songs includes anthems such as “This Charming Man,” “How Soon Is Now?,” “There Is A Light That Never Goes Out,” “Suedehead,” “Everyday Is Like Sunday,” and “Irish Blood, English Heart.”

Now, Morrissey is touring to commemorate his 40th year in the music biz, bringing his 40 Years of Morrissey tour to the Fox Theatre on Oct. 12. Tickets are on sale now.

Each night of the tour will highlight fan-favorite songs from the early days of The Smiths through today.
