Single tickets for the 25th anniversary tour of Chicago go on sale Aug. 19, according to Regions Bank Broadway. As a special to the 2022-23 Regions Bank Broadway in Atlanta season, Broadway’s razzle-dazzle smash Chicago will play a limited engagement at the Fox Theatre Oct. 21-23.

Set amid the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, Chicagois the story of Roxie Hart, a housewife and nightclub dancer who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma Kelly, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer to transform her malicious crime into a barrage of sensational headlines. Fans have loved the play as well as the movie starring, Renee Zellweger, Richard Gere and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The Broadway revival is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and is currently the longest-running American-written musical in Broadway history.
