As the Heathers would say, “It’ll be very.”

As Heathers concludes its run at Oglethorpe’s Conant Performing Arts Center, we’ve got some action shots from the cult classic musical. Check them out below!

Actor’s Express continues its 34th season with the Off-Broadway hit musical Heathers by Kevin Murphy and Laurence O’Keefe based on the 1989 cult classic film starring Winona Ryder. Performed as a collaboration with Oglethorpe University Theatre, the show runs through October 17, 2021 at Oglethorpe’s Conant Performing Arts Center (4484 Peachtree Road).

Actor’s Express says…

“It means so much to Actor’s Express to collaborate with our friends at Oglethorpe University. I believe a special kind of energy can spark when you gather artists from varying stages of experience into one collaborative process. We believe not only that the OU students can learn a great deal from their professional colleagues, but that the students will offer their own unique insights in return.”- Freddie Ashley (Artistic Director, Actor’s Express)

Oglethorpe University says…

“Oglethorpe has a long tradition of partnering with Atlanta’s best professional theatres beginning with the founding of Georgia Shakespeare on our campus many years ago. Along with Georgia Shakespeare, we’ve partnered with the Alliance Theatre, Horizon Theatre, and Georgia Ensemble Theatre in recent years. All of these partnerships have provided opportunities for students to work alongside professionals in different capacities, but they were not co-productions. What’s exciting about the Actor’s Express partnership is that it is a genuine co-production featuring a large number of Oglethorpe students in the cast as well as our theatre faculty and staff playing key roles in the design and production team. This kind of collaboration is really unique and provides our students a professionally-oriented and high-impact educational opportunity.” –Matt Huff (Theatre Director, Oglethorpe University)
