A tour of the Broadway phenomenon Hamilton will play the Fox Theatre from January 30 through February 25, which promises to be one of the hottest tickets in town.
The 11-time Tony Award winning masterpiece by Lin-Manuel Miranda is a revolutionary story of passion, unstoppable ambition, and the dawn of a new nation, telling the rise of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton as he fights for honor, love, and his legacy.
The musical is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography and Miranda’s score blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and Broadway, and forever changed the Broadway landscape for many, bringing in new audiences to the theatre.
Directed by Thomas Kail, choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler, and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, the show also collected Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.
