Horizon Theatre Company is getting people in the spirit of the holiday season this year with a live “movie” production from Atlanta’s legendary improv troupe, Dad’s Garage.

Y’allmark Christmas: An Improvised Holiday “Movie” is awarm and wacky send-up of made-for-TV holiday movies, with all the holiday tropes you would expect from a Hallmark holiday film.

The show, which is scheduled to run Dec. 8-31, will feature a rotating cast of three veteran improvisers from Dad’s Garage and a different daily guest actor to create an all-new, live, onstage holiday “movie” from scratch every night. That means, no two shows will ever be the same.

Among the performers will be Abel Arias, Karen Cessay, Matt Horgan, Whitney Millsap, Joshua Quinn and Gina Rickicki.

Leading the charge as director/narrator is Atlanta playwright and actual Hallmark movie screenwriter Topher Payne, who conceived the idea of the show with Amber Nash.

Tickets start at $39. For more information, visit www.horizontheatre.com.
