Celebrate the Christmas season at the Fox Theatre this December with three yuletide events perfect to get people in the mood of the holiday.
Up first is the Hip Hop Nutcracker at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3. This contemporary reimagining of Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet is set to a hip-hop score and features electrifying choreography and dazzling costumes.
On Dec. 12, Il Divo: A New Holiday Tour, heads to the theatre at 7:30 p.m. This musical journey features classic holiday tunes performed by the world-renowned vocal quartet Il Divo.
For those who want a more traditional Nutcracker experience, Nutcracker! Magical Christmas takes to the stage at 7 p.m. Dec. 15 and 2 p.m. Dec. 16. The enchanting ballet is rich in tradition and storytelling and will sweep the audience off their feet into a winter wonderland.
“There is no better place to experience the spirit of the holiday season than at The Fox Theatre,” Jamie Vosmeier, the venue’s vice president of sales and marketing, said. “Our lineup of events is entertaining and speaks to the essence of unity and celebration that the holidays represent.”
