As part of its first headlining tour in five years, Queens of the Stone Age, led by frontman Josh Homme, will be heading to the Fox Theatre on Aug. 18.

The band’s “The End of Nero” tour will also feature openers Phantogram and The Armed this August.

Queens of the Stone Age recently released “In Times New Roman,” which has quickly risen on the alt-rock charts. This is the band’s sixth studio release and first in more than five years.

While the band will showcase plenty of its new material, Homme is known for playing the hits at his concerts, so expect favorites like “My God Is the Sun,” “Little Sister,” and “Go With the Flow.”

The show will also honor former Queens of the Stone Age member Mark Lanegan, who passed away last year.
