Many famous stars and productions have graced the Fox Theatre, but for the month of October, the Fabulous Fox will be entertained by ghosts as the theatre will once again present its Ghost Tours. Brave guests will walk through the historic theatre to learn about the Fox’s ghostly sightings and unexplained events.
Spooks and scares will be around every shadowy corner as guides recount supernatural tales collected from theatre staff and contractors over the years. Stops include a look inside the original 1929 Hospital Room, a power room that even Frankenstein would admire, and key sub-basement areas. Over the years, many of the staff and more than a few patrons have claimed to have felt a sudden blast of cold air, seen a shadowy figure float along the walls, or heard the slow creaking of a door shutting close without cause.ew
Tickets are on sale at foxtheatre.org, the Fox Theatre ticket office, or by calling 855-285-8499. Standard tickets are $45 (plus applicable fees) each, and include access to the Marquee Club presented by Lexus.
Premium tickets are $60 (plus applicable fees)each, and include access to the Marquee Club presented by Lexus and two seasonal cocktails.
Platinum tickets are $75 (plus applicable fees)each, and include access to the Marquee Club presented by Lexus, two seasonal cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert at an additional tour stop exclusive to Platinum ticket buyers.
Doors to the Marquee Club presented by Lexus opens at 6 p.m. each day and will remain open until 11 p.m. for all Ghost Tour attendees. Patrons must have a Ghost Tour ticket in hand to enter.
Standard and Premium Ghost Tours start every 15 minutes and last approximately 60 minutes. Platinum tours are approximately 75 minutes and are only available at 8 p.m., 8:15 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. each evening. Ghost Tours are not recommended for children under the age of 10; children under six are not permitted.
