The Center for Puppetry Arts continues its live streamed performances this month with another classic fairy tale.

Just the facts

The Pied Picker is now streaming live on Zoom from the Center for Puppetry Arts every Wednesday-Friday at 11:00am and Saturday-Sunday at 1:00pm through September 6. Produced by All Hands Productions of Atlanta, the show is performed by puppeteer David Stephens.

About David Stephens

David Stephens has been creating puppet characters for over 20 years. As a performer, Stephens has toured the United States and Canada presenting one-man puppet shows, which he writes, directs, builds, produces and performs under the auspices of All Hands Productions. Several of his shows have received funding from The Jim Henson Foundation, which strives to promote the art of live puppet theater in America.

Stephens was briefly a Muppet performer on “Sesame Street” and has worked for both Disney’s Muppets and The Jim Henson Company as a puppeteer. His work has been recognized by the Puppeteers of America and the American branch of Union Internationale de la Marionette (UNIMA), the world’s oldest theatrical organization focused on puppetry.
