Join Actor’s Express at Jump, a show about loss, depression, and healing hearts. In this dark comedy, twenty-something Fay is grieving the death of her mother. Seeking solace, she walks the bridge above a gorge. While developing relationships with others on the bridge, Fay contemplates human connection, forgiveness, and letting go. The Actor’s Express production of Jump will be the second of four produced during the National New Play Network’s Rolling World Premiere of Charly Evon Simpson’s new work. Jump has been described as “moving and poetic,” “gorgeous from beginning to end,” and “at once, bleak and hopeful.”
