Jeffrey Fashion Cares Atlanta, part of one of the largest combined AIDS and breast cancer benefits in the nation, celebrates 26 years Aug. 27.
The annual philanthropic fête, which begins at 7 p.m. at Phipps Plaza, was founded by retailer/style arbiter Jeffrey Kalinsky. The New York-based Kalinsky founded the Jeffrey Boutique chain, which opened its first store in Atlanta in 1996.
The benefit evening includes a cocktail reception, silent auction, live auction and runway show. The runway show features Kalinsky selections from such high-end designers as Balenciaga, Manolo Blahnik, Celine, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Sacai, Saint Laurent Paris, Christian Louboutin and Dries Van Noten.
Attendees will see a transformed (and private) Monarch Court at the recently renovated Phipps on Peachtree Road in Buckhead. Tickets ($500) include reserved seating and go on sale July 16. Patron and sponsor packages are available. Details HERE or at 404.420.2997.
The 2018 event benefits Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta, the Atlanta AIDS Fund and the Medical University of South Carolina. Last year’s event raised more than $750,000.
