alexplsLaugh and commiserate with Alexander in the musical Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Alexander’s misadventures are again chronicled by Judith Viorst, who wrote the original best-selling picture book in 1972. Here she provides the book and lyrics. Have you ever had a really rotten day? Alexander has. His morning begins when he wakes up with gum in his hair and, before he’s even had breakfast, he trips on a skateboard and drops his sweater in the sink. He can tell early on that it’s going to be a horrible, no good, very bad day. The Atlanta Lyric Theatre show is performed at the Lyric Studio Theatre on the Marietta Square (12 Powder Springs St.). Recommended for ages 4-10, and anyone who’s ever had one of those days.
