enemieThe Best of Enemies at Theatrical Outfit is based on the true story that inspired Osha Gray Davidson’s 1996 book of the same name. Despite prejudice and fear, a civil rights activist named Ann and C.P., an Exalted Cyclops of the KKK, forge an alliance based on respect and trust. The New York Times calls this “one of the most important historical plays about America to ever reach the stage.” The playwright is Mark St. Germain, one of Theatrical Outfit’s favorites (The God Committee, The Gifts of the Magi, The Fabulous Lipitones). Elisabeth Omilami, making her Outfit debut as Ann, goes toe-to-toe with Bruce Evers as the KKK official, and shares the stage with Lala Cochran and Enoch King. We have discount tickets for performances tonight and Feb. 5-7.
