The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra is partnering with DeKalb County public libraries to bring free chamber music concerts to six library locations and the Clarkston Community Center.

Called Symphony in Your Neighborhood, the series comprises hourlong performances in casual settings, starting this month. And they’re interactive. Audiences will be able to listen and learn about the music from ASO players. Library cardholders will also have access to ticket offers for regular ASO concerts. The schedule:

7 p.m. Oct. 14. Avis G Williams Library, Toco Hills area.

7 p.m. Dec. 9. William C. Brown Library, Wesley Chapel, Decatur.

1 p.m. Jan. 11, 2014. Reid H. Cofer Library, Tucker.

1 p.m. Feb. 15. Chamblee Library (in Spanish).

7 p.m. March 18. Decatur Library, downtown Decatur.

1 p.m. April 26. Clarkston Community Center.

7 p.m. May 6. Stonecrest Library, Lithonia.
