In “Morningside,” a world premiere comedy at Georgia Ensemble, nine women with a case of champagne celebrate a mother-to-be, sort of.

The 5-year-old company’s founders pass the leadership baton to “the next up-and-coming group of powerhouse female artists.”

The newish company, dedicated to creating theater by women, for everyone, will stage plays by Jane Martin and Sarah Ruhl in June and July.
