Shucked, the 2022 Grammy- and Tony Award-nominated musical, will make its Nashville debut when the North American tour plays the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s Jackson Hall, Nov. 5-10.
Single tickets for the musical comedy are currently on sale.
The show boasts a book by Tony Award winner Robert Horn, a score by Grammy Award winners and Nashville’s own Brandy Clark and Shane McAnally, and direction by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien.
Described as a “farm to fable” musical, Shucked follows a small-town woman, Maizy, who leaves home in search of someone who can figure out why all the corn in the county is dying. The show is full of love, laughter and a slew of corny puns.
The Nashville dates are the first of the tour, and the complete cast will be named in the months ahead.
