The Aurora Theatre has two special events on tap that will celebrate two popular end-of-the-month holidays.

The theatre’s annual Festival Del Dia De Los Muertos, the Mexican holiday known as “Day of the Dead,” will take place at 11:30 a.m. October 28. Guests will enjoy a wonderful cultural tradition full of color, music, food and dance.

The day will include free performances from Picadilly Puppets, Alma Mexicana, Danza Azteca, We Love BuHi Orchestra, Mariachi Buhos de Oro and more.

On Halloween night, October 31, Aurora Theatre will present Drag-oween on the Metro Waterproofing Main Stage.

Attendees are invited to wear costumes and party the night away with Nicole Paige Brooks from Season 2 of RuPaul’s Drag Race! Brent Star and some of Atlanta’s most popular drag queens will be part of a special show that will celebrate the spooky season with music, dancing, fashion, cocktails and scary-good performances.

The show is adult-only and tickets are $20. For more information, visit www.auroratheatre.com.
