Julieta Venegas, the celebrated American-Mexican composer, musician and singer, will perform at the Fox Theatre on May 28 for a one-night-only special event.
The multitalented artist is known for her pop-rock-indie tunes sung in Spanish and plays 17 instruments including acoustic guitar, accordion and keyboard.
Over her career, Venegas has won two Grammy Awards and 11 Latin Grammy Awards, as well as two Billboard Music Awards and seven MTV Awards.
Many of her hits, such as “Lento,” “Limón y Sal,” “Me Voy” and “Andar Conmigo,” have become anthems for an entire generation and are still relevant today among young audiences.
Venegas’ latest album, “Tu Historia,” was released in November and is her first of new material in seven years. The record has quickly become beloved by fans and critics around the world.
