An Atlanta treasure is telling (and singing) all at Synchronicity Theatre this month.

Quick facts

Multi-talented theatre professional Terry Burrell brings us Backstage and Other Stories, an original show based on her vast career which has taken her here, there, and everywhere. Accompanied on the piano by S. Renee Clark, the performance will be streamed through October 25.

Backstage and Other Stories is the first in Synchronicity Theatre’s 4×4 Series, featuring four shows by four women. Click here to read more about the series on Encore Atlanta, the next of which will stream next week.

In the words of Synchronicity Theatre

“After a lifetime on Broadway and regional stages, Terry Burrell spills the tea in a joyful, sassy, musical joint, accompanied by S. Renee Clark on the keys. These are two local legends you won’t want to miss!”

About Terry Burrell

Terry’s extensive Broadway credits include The Threepenny Opera, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Into The Woods, and more. She also starred in the first London production of Showboat as Julie. In regional theatre, Terry was nominated for the Helen Hayes Best Actress in a Musical award for her portrayal of Queenie in Duke Ellington’s Queenie Pie.

In addition, Terry is a seasoned cabaret artist who’s performed her nightclub act for audiences from Monte Carlo to the Caribbean and for corporate clients like IBM, Avon and The National Grocers Association. Most notably in Atlanta, she brought her one-woman piece, Ethel, a theatrical tribute to Ethel Waters, to the Alliance Theatre in 2016. This holiday season, she will return to the Alliance with A Very Terry Christmas.
