The Fox Theatre celebrates its legacy of being a premier movie palace in Atlanta by presenting an annual Coca-Cola Summer Film Festival.

This year’s festival, announced earlier this summer, was already one of its best, with anticipated films such as sing-along nights with The Little Mermaid (Aug. 24 at 1 p.m.) and Bohemian Rhapsody (Aug. 24 at 7:30 p.m.), and classics Casablanca (Aug. 25 at 1 p.m.) and West Side Story (Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m.) playing over the two-day event.

One final film has been added, 1985’s John Hughes classic The Breakfast Club, which will start the festival at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23. Patrons are encouraged to wear their best ’80s attire—whether they dress as a jock, nerd, princess, criminal or basket case. A photo booth will be available in the lobby.

All films will be displayed on a large 26-by-56-foot screen, and audience members can enjoy the movies under the Fox Theatre’s distinctive blue sky with twinkling stars and fluffy clouds

Before each showing, patrons can attend a magical pre-show experience, which will include a sing-along with a vintage cartoon. Special one-hour guided tours through the theatre’s original projection booth, screening room and celebrity dressing rooms is also available.

Tickets for the film festival can be purchased at foxtheatre.org. The Marquee Club presented by Lexus is accessible with purchase of Marquee Club Level seats located in the front balcony section of the theatre and are sold for $45.
