The Alliance Theatre is taking audiences down the rabbit hole with the world premiere of the musical, Into the Burrow: A Peter Rabbit Tale.
Written and directed by Mark Valdez, and based on the beloved stories of Beatrix Potter, the musical adventure tells the story of the neighborly forest animals gathering in the rabbit’s den under Mr. McGregor’s garden to throw a surprise party for Peter.
The show runs through Dec. 23 on the Hertz Stage.
In the tale, Peter must face his fears and, together with his friends, gather a community to help save his home.
The musical includes original songs, and encourages audiences to acknowledge their fears and work together to overcome challenges.
Additionally, in a collaboration with the High Museum of Art, the museum will be holding the exhibition, Beatrix Potter: Drawn to Nature through Jan. 7, 2024.
