The Children’s Museum of Atlanta will host the seventh annual TinyCON, Sept. 1-4.
TinyCON, which has been one of the most beloved and well-attended events through the years, is a celebration of fantasy, science fiction and fictional universes.
Children attending are encouraged to wear costumes as they participate in Jedi training and more “out of this world” activities and adventures, such as crafting ogre slime and constructing obstacle courses.
Comics aficionados will enjoy the activities surrounding Sonic the Hedgehog, Super Mario and Pokémon.
Additionally, to commemorate Latinx Heritage Month during TinyCON, families will have the chance to pay tribute to the Latinx community with enlightening educational experiences and cultural presentations. The event culminates with special performances by Maculelê-Capoeira and Alma Mexicana, adding an extra layer of excitement to the occasion.
