There is something for everyone during November at the Lawrenceville Arts Center, including fan favorite Christmas Canteen, which runs from Nov. 25 to Dec. 23.
The CanTEEN: Holiday Musical Theatre Intensive, will take place from Nov. 3 to Dec. 6 for teens who wish to take the stage in a “TEEM”-led explosion of Christmas magic.
Quarteto Nuevo, a band that merges western, classical, eastern European folk, Latin and jazz music with a contemporary groove, will join the series with a concert at 1 PM Nov. 5.
Also back will be The Boys Are Back, a cabaret tribute to boy bands, on Nov. 12. Mike Albanese, food-obsessed writer and comedian with Gwinnett roots, returns to perform for his hometown crowd on Nov. 18 and 19. At the Aurora Children’s Playhouse is Happy ThanksTelling: World Folktales of Gratitude for two performances on Nov. 26 while the Lawrenceville Arts Center will showcase Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest presented by Contemporary Classics.
