Aurora Theatre’s Men With Money takes place in a Technicolor fantasy version of 1952 Manhattan, where it’s OK to be gay and people from all backgrounds are treated equally. Creator Bill Nelson (book and lyrics) calls the musical a subversive, romantic romp about three young men chasing their wildest dreams — to find, woo and win spouses with money. Two of the three want husbands. Men With Money was a National Alliance of Musical Theatre festival finalist. Lawrenceville’s Aurora gives the show its professional premiere.
