Throw down with some of the best chefs in the Southeast — from Atlanta, Nashville, Charleston, Charlotte and Savannah — at the inaugural Springer Mountain Farms’ Atlanta Wing Fest. This one-day only event takes place Sept. 25 at The Foundry at Puritan Mill in Atlanta. The “Party With a Purpose” provides wings, beer, Southern spirits and local music to benefit the Atlanta-based charities Angel Flight Soars (free air transportation for those in need of life-saving medical treatment) and Second Helpings Atlanta (which takes surplus food from restaurants, grocery stores, corporate dining halls, farmers markets and schools to front-line agencies that feed the hungry every day).
