Leave your passport at home because dancers, singers, acrobats, martial artists and drummers from across the globe are coming to the Fox for the Delta International Series.

Prior to every show, the Fox offers educational programs for audience members. Before this month’s Jungua: Descendants of the Dragon, 25 students from the Chinese Shaolin Center will perform a Shaolin Kung Fu demonstration.

Season ticket holders will get to see all five shows for as little as $32 per show, a savings of up to 20 percent off.

The shows:

Jungua: Descendants of the Dragon (Sept. 4, 2008): The Shaolin Disciples and the Imperial Acrobats of China perform traditional Chinese acrobatics and martial arts to a modern music score. The show is a dynamic yin/yang combination of Kung Fu, music, dance and acrobatics.

State Ballet Theater of Russia performing Cinderella (Jan. 11, 2009): The company’s 54 dancers, many of which are winners of international ballet competitions, bring this enchanting fairytale to life.

The Chieftains (Feb. 28, 2009): Ireland’s “Official Musical Ambassadors” and six-time Grammy winners, The Chieftains, put their own twist on traditional Irish music.

Kodo (March 1, 2009): Kodo is a group of performers playing Japanese drums known as “taiko.” Their “One Earth Tour” is a reminder that the most basic musical expression, the drumbeat, doesn’t need any translation.

The Ten Tenors (May 20, 2009): These performers offer “opera without the boring bits.” Expect to hear traditional ballads, along with pop hits.
