Who says life can’t be a fairy-tale? The Georgia Renaissance Festival offers wedding packages where bride, groom and guests get to experience Ye Olde Matrimony Ceremony Renaissance-style. The Knight and Lady package ($1,500) includes 20 festival tickets for wedding guests; flowers for the bride, groom and five bridesmaids; wedding garden and reception area rental; champagne; a handcrafted calligraphy marriage certificate; and, for the lucky couple, seating with the king at the Royal Joust. For larger groups, the King and Queen package ($3,000) adds an ordained minister in costume, an additional 30 festival tickets and a 16th-century banquet for 50 guests. Wedding packages are available annually mid-April through early June, and can be booked years in advance.
