The Children’s Museum of Atlanta is inviting families to celebrate Mother’s Day at the facility on May 14, where visitors will enjoy a heartfelt CMA Storytime reading of the popular “I Love You to the Moon and Back” by Amelia Hepworth.

And once the story time is over, children can participate in a fun jam session to “I Love You Too” by singer Ziggy Marley, which embraces love through music. Meanwhile, in the Art Studio, the kids will get the chance to make their very own frames out of popsicle sticks as a gift for mom to hold their memories together.

Also at the museum that day, families can check out Shaun the Sheep: Flock This Way! a new exhibit that runs from May 13-Sept. 4.

Based on the popular film and television character, the Shaun the Sheep program builds on problem-solving themes in fun, engaging ways. The exhibit was created by Minnesota Children’s Museum in partnership with Aardman.

Designed for children ages 3 through 9, those visiting the exhibit can explore the antics of Shaun the Sheep and his pals on Mossy Bottom Farm and it includes activities that encourage children to playfully explore themes around problem-solving and resilience in a safe and lighthearted manner and aims to make the analytical process explicit.
