City Springs Theatre Company has revealed its 2023-24 season, and will bring in a great collection of musical productions to the Byers Theatre.

First up is Tony Award-winner Fiddler on the Roof, the beloved classic with a book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick, which will hit the stage Oct. 6-23.

Set in the remote village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor milkman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to protect his daughters and instill in them traditional values in the face of changing social mores and the growing anti-Semitism of Czarist Russia.

For the holiday season, White Christmas will play Dec. 8-24, bringing the timeless music and lyrics of Irving Berlin and the book by David Ives and Paul Blake to the stage. Based on the classic 1954 Paramount Pictures film, the story follows WWII veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis who take their successful vaudeville routine to a Vermont lodge and find romance.

Next up is Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, which roars into Sandy Springs March 8-24, 2024. The show boasts music by the legendary Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and a book by Linda Woolverton. The story is one everyone knows and includes unforgettable songs including “Be Our Guest,” “Human Again,” and the Oscar-winning title tune, “Beauty and the Beast.”

The season closes with Legally Blonde The Musical, May 3-19, 2024. Based on the beloved Reese Witherspoon film, with a book by Heather Hach and music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe & Nell Benjamin, the musical follows the transformation of lawyer-to-be Elle Woods as she tackles stereotypes and scandal in pursuit of her dreams.
