The Children’s Museum of Atlanta will host its annual Imagination Ball on March 18, from 7 to 11 p.m., at the Eastern in Reynoldstown.

The adults-only charity ball is presented by Georgia Power and will be chaired by John Jackson and Jason Esteves, two long-time members of the museum’s board.

Additionally, Allegra Lawrence-Hardy has been named the beneficiary of the 2023 Power of Play award, which recognizes those who, through leadership, innovation and passion, embody the Museum’s mission to change the world by sparking every child’s imagination, sense of discovery and learning through the power of play.

Lawrence-Hardy is co-founder of Lawrence & Bundy, a nationally recognized litigation law firm, and a longtime member of the Children’s Museum of Atlanta board of directors and executive committee. She has spent years impacting the lives of children through her leadership and deep commitment to providing opportunities for the next generation of leaders, whether working with the Atlanta Girls’ School, Zoo Atlanta, the Alliance Theater, or the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta to name but a few.

“The mission of the Children Museum of Atlanta plays a critical role in nurturing and inspiring young lives,” Lawrence-Hardy said. “It is a privilege to be part of an organization committed to providing opportunities for children of all backgrounds and interests to learn and be inspired to become their greatest selves through creativity, imagination, and play.”

The benefit event, which includes a seated dinner and live auction, supports the Museum’s mission to change for children.
