Mo Willems–the best-selling children’s book author, illustrator, and creator–is doing his part to entertain children during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The creator of the Alliance Theatre’s Naked Mole Rat Gets Dressed: The Rock Experience (and many more of the theatre’s hits) is now hosting a free drawing series called Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems! every weekday at 1 p.m. ET on The Kennedy Center’s YouTube page and website.

“I know a lot of you guys are not in school,” Willems said in his introductory video last Monday. “You’re at home right now because of all the things that are going on. Well, guess what? I’m at home, too. We’re gonna hang out together.”

Each video is 20-30 minutes long and features Willems leading a doodle session. He also encourages kids to submit questions to LUNCHDOODLES@kennedy-center.org for him to answer during the sessions.

Watch the first episode below, and let us know if you’ll be joining the Lunch Doodles gang. We know we will be!
