Terminus Modern Ballet is taking audiences on a journey around the campfire through their latest outdoor venture, Lore, performing at Deer Hollow at Serenbe October 11-20.

Lore is infused with so much of what I love about Fall,” original choreographer/performer Heath Gill shares. “The slight chill in the air, the warmth of family and friends, campfires, and sharing of stories as the annual traditions of the season arrive.” Not only is this piece timely, but it is personal to Gill as it marked his first full-length piece. “Returning to a work as a choreographer is a treat because it allows you the opportunity to celebrate the imprint of your past self the work represents and imbue it with all the exciting new things you have discovered along the way since. Can’t wait!!”

About Lore
Lore weaves a tale of familial legacy and expectation – touching on the shared traditions passed down through generations. It is a story of two siblings who, within their community, experience its collected heritage along different avenues. As their individual journeys unfold, it is this custom of passing down an oral knowledge that is the heart of Lore, and the heart of the community to which it belongs.
