Out of Hand Theater is teaming up with Actor’s Express and Kenny Leon’s True Colors Theatre Company to present a new 70-minute play entitled, The Investigation: A Crime in Ten Acts on August 19.

Benefiting the Southern Poverty Law Center’s Southeast Immigration Freedom Initiative and Planned Parenthood Southeast, the piece uses text straight from the Mueller Report, adapted by Tony Award and Pulitzer Prize-winner Robert Schenkkan. This performance hopes to offer “an opportunity to come together to raise money for two incredible organizations pursuing social justice.”

Official Summary
In The Investigation, Individual One is living in the White House, and he’s not happy. As Special Counsel Robert Mueller seeks the truth, Individual One does his best to get in the way. This almost unbelievable, but depressingly accurate adaptation of Robert Mueller’s report succinctly makes the case for why we as a country must stay vigilant and reminds us that no one is above the law. Adapted by Robert Schenkkan, The Investigation will make you laugh, cry, mad as hell, and want to take action.
