YOU KNOW the classic Frank Capra Christmas movie It’s a Wonderful Life, right? Donna Reed? Jimmy Stewart? Zuzu? Of course you do. This Wonderful Life at Aurora Theatre is sort of like that. But not really, and it’s an intriguing addition to the holiday theater calendar. The comic one-man stage adaptation by longtime Georgia writer Steve Murray (whom you might know from his days as an Atlanta Journal-Constitution critic) features Jeremy Aggers (Singles in Agriculture, Hands on a Hardbody) as every character in the story. He’s Clarence and Mary, Mr. Potter, Uncle Billy, Mr. Gower, Zuzu and, of course, George Bailey, who learns that it takes more than money to be the richest man in town. Aurora describes the script as hilarious and touching. We’d bet on it. (Pictured: Jeremy Aggers. Top photo by Casey Gardner. Photo at right by Chris Bartelski)
