SANDY SPRINGS RESTAURANT WEEK, beginning Saturday and running through Nov. 9, turns 5 this year. It has lined up some 18 eateries to dish out  fish and seafood, Greek and Turkish staples, Mexican favorites, fried chicken, eggs, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and antipasti, steak, cheeses, smoothies and an array of desserts.

Participating  restaurants can offer prix-fixe menus at three price points for lunch ($10, $15 and $20) and three more for dinner ($25, $35 and $45). Not all eateries offer meals in all categories.

Returning participants include CalyRoad Creamery (offering wine, cheese and artisan bread trays for $35.50, $45 and $65), Chef Rob’s Caribbean Cafe & Upscale Lounge,  Food 101 American Kitchen & Bar,  Frutta Bowls, Hammocks Trading Co., Hudson Grille, Il Giallo Osteria & Bar, J. Christopher’s, Kaiser’s Chophouse, Marlow’s Tavern, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Southern Bistro, Tupelo Honey Cafe and Under the Cork Tree.

New this year are Darwin’s Burgers & Blues, Huey Luey’s, Mandolin Kitchen and Taqueria Tsunami.
