If you haven’t been to the Children’s Museum of Atlanta lately, you may not recognize it. The downtown space, designed for everyone from babies to age 8 (and their grown-ups), underwent a massive face-lift 18 months ago. Many of its most popular playthings remain — including a tractor and giant ball machine. But new features, particularly hands-on STEM projects (science, technology, engineering, arts and math education) are designed for older siblings who may be visiting the museum with their families. If you haven’t already, check out the 3,000-sq. ft. mezzanine level for STEM projects, newer interactive exhibits and a fresh performance space for storytellers and other performers. Note: The museum is closed on Wednesdays. Gift certificate expires June 30, 2018
