food that rocks 325For one night only, more than 20 of Sandy Springs’ favorite restaurants (Battle & Brew, Buttermilk Sky, CT Cocina & Taqueria, Kaiser’s Chophouse and Three Sheets, among them) will rock the big tent in Hammond Park. This all-inclusive event features food, wine, beer and cocktail tastes from local mixologists and tunes from local musicians including the Biffs. The annual event, now in its second year, benefits the Sandy Springs-based charities Second Helpings Atlanta (which works to end hunger in metro Atlanta), Ian’s Friends Foundation (which supports pediatric brain tumor research) and the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance. The fun commences at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 6. Casual dress recommended and avoid spikey-heeled shoes that will stick in the grass. PLEASE NOTE: Food That Rocks is age 21+ only, rain or shine.
