fetch

In the days leading to one of Muhammad Ali’s most anticipated fights, the heavyweight boxing champ forms an unlikely friendship with controversial Hollywood performer Stepin Fetchit. Fetch Clay, Make Man, by award-winning playwright and performer Will Power, explores the improbable bond between these two drastically different and influential cultural touchstones. This true story is as powerful and poetic as Clay himself and as humorous and irreverent as Fetchit’s signature act. Note: All seats are between rows C and M. True Colors performs at the Southwest Arts Center.
