xmascarol14_monitor-990x557Aurora Theatre’s one-man Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is in the midst of limited run, with Aurora artistic director Anthony P. Rodriguez once again cloaked in Victorian garb and telling the tale for the eighth season. The company’s intimate 80-seat studio theater is transformed to make you feel as though Dickens himself has invited you into his parlor. The focus is on the storytelling as Rodriguez uses his voice and mannerisms to bring us an entire cast of characters, from Ebenezer Scrooge and Jacob Marley, to the put-upon Bob Cratchit and the prescient ghosts, all found in one of the best Christmas stories ever told.
