wizardTake a trip over the rainbow with Dorothy and friends in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, a world premiere adaptation of the classic L. Frank Baum story at Serenbe Playhouse. The script is by Rachel Teagle, who in past seasons has been behind Serenbe’s popular interpretations of The Velveteen Rabbit and Alice in WonderlandThe Wonderful World of Oz features original, handcrafted puppets from the Center of Puppetry Arts, and an actual yellow brick road that leads the way to the magic and memories. See it through Aug. 2 at the Animal Farm at the Inn. Serenbe Playhouse is in the Palmetto-Chattachoochee Hills neighborhood about 30 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The magic makers ask that you bring your own seating for the outdoors performance.
