dracula7 Stages sinks its teeth into Valentine’s Day with a concert version of its popular Dracula: The Rock Opera, created by Rob Thompson, founder of the Little Five Points Rockstar Orchestra, along with co-conspirators Naomi Lavender, Sam McPherson and Chris Love. The world premiere of the stage version launched the theater’s 2012 season. This go-round, the rockin’ score stands alone — for three nights only. Expect 40 or so tunes that tell the famous story of Count Dracula, his vampire ladies, unlucky Jonathan Harker and the beloved Lucy. This wild musical journey features fantastic singers standing so close to the audience you can almost smell the sweat and see the blood, an unforgettable event that will leave you thirsty for more.
