  • Be age 9 to 13
  • Have a strong tap background and exceptional performance skills

All auditions are on a first-come, first-served basis, and callbacks will be held the same afternoon. Registration begins at 1 p.m., with the first round of auditions at 2 p.m. and final callbacks beginning about 4 p.m.

Auditionees should bring two copies of their headshot and resume. For the initial audition, bring tap shoes and be prepared to perform one to two  minutes of a solo tap combination of your choosing. At callbacks, be prepared to learn a short tap combination and improvise. To pre-register, email alliance.audition@woodruffcenter.org. In Tappin’ Thru Life, running April 2-May 4, Hines narrates his life story through tap.
