walkposterCan major change happen with a simple walk in the woods? That’s the singular question posed in A Walk in the Woods at Serenbe Playhouse, in which two superpower arms negotiators — one Russian and one American — meet among the trees near Geneva, Switzerland, over a year’s time to negotiate nuclear disarmament. Lee Blessing’s 1987 drama, based on real-life negotiations that happened in 1982, was nominated for the Tony Award and a Pulitzer Prize. This version features Atlanta actors Robin Bloodworth and Allan Edwards. As with all productions at Serenbe, this show will be performed outdoors. You’ll find it in the Farmers and Artists Market Clearing (enter at the Farmers Market.) The show runs June 27-July 14.
