7 Stages theater in Little Five Points will be home base for the second Atlanta Fringe Festival, taking place June 5-9 at venues around town.

What this means to you: 7 Stages is where audiences and artists alike will find Fringe 2013 tickets, merchandise and information about the fest, in general, and its 24 featured productions.

The fest is designed to provide accessible, uncensored outlets for artists who might not otherwise get their work produced. It showcases original, nontraditional, multicultural work that is likely to push buttons and boundaries, similar to Fringe fests in New York, New Orleans and Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Opening and closing parties for this year’s fest will take place at 7 Stages, 1105 Euclid Ave. N.E., and performances will take place in its mainstage and black-box spaces. Other venues include Theatrical Outfit downtown, and the Village Theatre and the Horizon School on DeKalb Avenue.
