KRAKOWSKI

The Alliance Theatre’s annual A Tony Evening gala on May 18 will feature entertainment by Jane Krakowski and benefit the theater’s educational programming for youth and families.

The event’s 2013 honorees are the Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit behind “Sesame Street,” and Paul Bowers, CEO and president of Georgia Power, a proponent of arts in early childhood education.

Krakowski (Grand Hotel, Starlight Express, Nine) is a Tony Award winner and probably best known as Jenna Maroney on NBC’s “30 Rock,” a role for which she’s a three-time Emmy nominee. Audiences may also remember her from the dramedy “Ally McBeal” (1997-2002).
