Young professionals can converge on a metro restaurant for eats and libations before seeing the acclaimed War Horse at the Fox Theatre as part of  Fifth Third Bank Broadway in Atlanta’s first event of the 2012-13 season. They don’t define “young professional,” but you know who you are.

Publik, which is walking distance from the Fox, is partnering with Broadway in Atlanta to sponsor the networking event, designed to give attendees a chance to socialize before seeing the five-time Tony Award-winning drama.

The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 27 at the restaurant before theatergoers move to the Fox. Curtain is at 8 p.m. It costs $53 and includes one ticket to War Horse, light appetizers, beverages and access to giveaways. Use the promotional code PUBLIK when buying your ticket.

War Horse, described by The New York Times as “theatrical magic,” is the story of the young Albert and his horse, Joey, which is enlisted to fight for English forces during World War I. The epic drama has been universally praised for its storytelling and innovative stagecraft, including the large, intricate puppets that play Joey and other horses.

War Horse runs Sept. 25-30 at the Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St. N.E. Details HERE. To read more about War Horse, click HERE.
