The first-ever public art exhibition along Atlanta’s Beltline corridor hits the rails, so to speak, this summer. A mix of performances and installations can be seen through October along eight miles of the Beltline, an emerging system of parks, trails, transit and development that is trying to reclaim a somewhat dilapidated 22-mile loop of historic railway around the city. The events, mostly on weekends, include visual artists, musicians and dancers. To see them, you’ll need to walk or bicycle to the sites. For details, visit beltline.org. — Kathy Janich
